New coordinator provides new energy, perspective to Globe Aware's Cambodia program
We are excited to introduce a new face to the Globe Aware family. Alin is our new coordinator for the Cambodia program and has been key in its redevelopment. We are very excited to be moving forward with these meaningful new projects and great new coordinator, whose long years of service in the nonprofit and tourism industry will serve as great assets for volunteers and locals alike.
Here are some projects Cambodia volunteers may participate in:
Chicken Coops
Chicken coops will provide a family in need with a great source of protein by providing eggs and chicken and also by providing a potential source of income from surplus eggs.
Reforestation
Outside of the temple complex, trees are not protected in Cambodia. Volunteers will be working on planting trees to help with erosion issues.
Wheelchairs
Volunteers will continue to assemble and distribute wheelchairs to those in need.
Water
Filter distribution and possible water well repair and digging.
English Teaching
Volunteers will have the opportunity to help with pronunciation and pre-planned lessons in a rural village English school.

Mango Salad
Ingredients:
Green mango - 1 pc peeled and grated
Carrot - 1 pc peeled and grated
Sweet Basil - 20 g
Roasted peanut - 1 spoon
Asian coriander - 3 pcs
Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon
Chili coriander dip (dressing sauce) - 3 table spoon
Shallot - 2 pcs
Sweet chili - 1/2 pc
Chicken powder - 1/2 spoon
Dressing Sauce:
Shallot 1 finely chopped
Garlic 2 finely chopped
Cilendral root 1 chopped
Sweet chili 1/2 chopped
Lemon juice 1 lemon
Water 1 ladle
Chicken powder 1 spoon
Sugar 1 spoon
Directions:
Combine green grated mango, carrot, roasted peanut, chili coriander dip, sugar, basil, chicken powder, shallot into a bowl and mixture 2 minutes will be well and serves.
