Volunteer Vacation Testimonials
Guatemala Testimonials
The work projects we did directly impacted the community. We installed a cement floor and worked with sustainable agricultural projects and a children's center. There was enough time to rest and some fun leisure activities. It was balanced that every other day was a fun, optional, restful activity day. The ability to connect directly with people is what I like best. We met several community members and other volunteers and were able to exchange information for future connections. Our coordinator was super involved and took time with us daily to explain everything and answer any questions. She was super helpful and communicative, reaching out on WhatsApp and handing out detailed information and itineraries.

I loved working with the kids at the Christmas community party and then doing floors, and everything was great, as always. The best part was cement-making and eating with the local families. The accommodations were wonderful, Ann is wonderful, and you guys are the best!

The work project was meaningful because we were helping families and groups/communities we met. I think it's because we met the people we were helping. That is key. Anne does an amazing job with this. It was a perfect balance of work and free time. Also, this was the best accommodations I've had on one of these trips and the best food of any GA trip I've been on so far (three total). - D.C.
