It was very satisfying to build a new home each day with the family there. There wasn't as much leisure time as other Globe Aware programs I attended. However, I don't think it was a bad thing as we needed to build a house each day. The pace of the work was good so that improved the balance. Overall I think it was good. What I liked best was meeting the people and the community, and seeing the families get their new home with 2 of them moving in that evening. Coordinator Pius communicated very well with the group.- Michael Livingston, February 2025
The project work was meaningful because of the wonderful people. There was free time, and I enjoyed the food and accommodations. The best part of the volunteer vacation was the interaction with the locals and the visits to the schools. - Cyntia Stauffer, June 2024
